I had a Heliobacter pylori (H. Pylori) infection. It produced wind in the stomach and bowel and great pressure, which produced severe pain referred to the chest and so was initially thought to be heart problems.
Eventually, it was treated successfully with a couple of antibiotics. They killed all the bacteria in the gut, of course, and although the H. pylori stopped giving me trouble, I began to get every infection that appeared in my grandson’s school. He did not have to get the infection – he just passed it on. I got everything until I began to take probiotic supplements.
Then, after a few years, the symptoms of H. pylori reappeared. Not wishing to use antibiotics again, I consulted Marcus Ettinger and took what he prescribed. The infection was dealt with, and it has not reoccurred this time.
